About Site

History

The first incarnation of this site was called (The) Four Elements in 1996/97 and was hosted by an unnamed content/hosting provider and later DynDNS (circa 2003) on a local system here. It was my personal site for miscellaneous things I had posted or coded – much like it is now.

The Four Elements also hosted a “Sata.i” image bootdisk (2004) I had created to allow for Slackware users to install to a sata drive before it was added to the distribution. When I saw the holylinux.net domain was available, I grabbed it up and changed name of site/logo/css.

The site was hand coded in html then later xhtml/php (circa 2009) until Sept 2011 when I started moving it all to Drupal. In 2024, I moved it to WordPress.
